Bay Kennels has been in the business of breeding high quality Chesapeakes, Labradors and Golden Retrievers for 30 years. We strive to maintain a breeding program that puts healthy hunting and companion dogs on the market. Bay Kennels only breeds dogs whose hips have been certified by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) and whose eyes have been certified by the Canine Eye Registration Foundation.
Our pups and started dogs are brought up in a family environment. They have been handled and socialized since birth. Pups have had their dew claws removed and will have received two sets of shots and wormings before they leave for their new homes at seven weeks of age. We introduce the pups to birds at about 5 weeks of age. Any pup being shipped via an airlines, will have had a physical examination prior to shipping. Started dogs, depending on their age, may have a preliminary hip x-ray and their eyes checked.

Both dogs have a great disposition. Love kids and any one else who will take the time to give them a pat on the head. Razz has earned his HR title from HRC. He loves to work and does what I ask him to do without fail. I hunt him on both ducks and pheasants. I hunt Brassy mostly on pheasants, but she has no qualms getting wet. The pups should make both good family and hunting dogs.
